She is an electrical engineer and former journalist, and was short-listed for the 2020 Rakuten Kobo Emerging Writer Prize in Speculative Fiction. She is a member of International Thriller Writers, Science Fiction Writers of America, The Writers’ Union of Canada. Colleen lives in Ontario with her husband in their empty nest with their loveable, psychotic, reactive dog Kira.
